Decluttering means letting go of some things to give them a new life elsewhere. Going through this process allows you to renew your space and simplify your life.
The challenging part is figuring out what to give and what to keep. Here are some questions you can ask yourself during the decluttering process to guide to towards making confident decisions!
1. What does your dream living space look and feel like?
2. How do you want to feel after this process?
3. What do you want to spend your time doing? What do you wish you were doing more of?
4. Why am I having trouble deciding to keep this or not?
5. Am I wondering, "What if I need it one day?" or feeling guilty because it was gifted to me?
6. Do I have an emotional attachment to this item? If yes, leave it until the end of the process, to not slow down your momentum.
7. If I were being honest with myself, would I discard this item?
8. At the present moment, if I didn't own this item, would I want to buy it again?
9. Could this item bring joy and usefulness to someone else?
10. Is it time to let go of this item?
